Koen Broucke collects, not out of collector's rage or speculation, but always in function of his research and new creations. He collects books, maps, guides, works of art, old stones, botanical oddities, etc.
The art collection has grown from exchanges, donations, purchases through auctions, galleries and yes even thrift shops.
Part of the collection (including works by Frans Masereel, Henri Van Straten, Edmond Van Dooren, Ernest Albert, Jos Hendrix, Kris Van Dessel and Niek Hendrix) is currently on display at the unique Villa Michaux in Waulsort.
